hairs/days/new job

on friday, december 5th, 3 problems in my life suddenly resolved.

1. i had been anxiously pressing & re-pressing the "request refill" button for the pill that keeps the electrical activity in my heart down. you can't go off of it cold-turkey, and i was down to my last two tablets. on friday morning my refill was approved.

2. the healthcare marketplace of the people's republic of [midwestern state] accepted my application. i may not even need their help, because ...

3. i signed an offer for a new job! my stomach hurts when i think about it. i've never had an in-person office job before. my own desk!

   i'll be close enough to the lake to go swimming on summer evenings after work, & the benefits packet is so long i got nauseous scrolling through the pdf.
